A practical interpretation needs to be given to the design, after the concept is approved. SP-Innotive is able to achieve a design that can be built easily, because of a background in manufacturing. Engineering firms usually have a more theoretical approach, a design may look good on paper, but can be difficult to manufacture, because it’s incomplete and complicated. This often causes delays in manufacturing and makes it unnecessarily expensive. SP-Innotive makes technical drawings based on the way the equipment or machinery is produced. A product is often not welded, machined and assembled by the same person. Therefore a separate Weldment drawing is made for the welders. This shows all necessary information such as bills of materials and welding details. All individual parts are also drawn. A Machining drawing is made with all the required dimensions and tolerances. Separate drawings for the assembly are drawn with exploded views and parts lists. These drawings can later be used for a service manual or if any maintenance is needed.
